About Us:

ENYIA:

Being the Gemini that she is, Enyia had multiple passions that included basketball and mathematics. Her dreams of being the first female coach in the NBA were crushed when she tore her ACL, so she decided to pursue a new found love; hair & fashion. Ten years ago she started as an assistant in her childhood salon and completed her apprenticeship under Morgana Freeman. She has since honed her craft by being a Vidal Sassoon trained cutter as well as training with Yosh Toya and Ken Paves. The southern charm and eclectic individuality of Virginia Highlands reeled her in where she opened enyiaanise beauty bar, a Paul Mitchell Signature Salon. “Two and a half years in, I reminisce on the days of growing up in the salon being influence by its individuality, but I said, it’s time for change. In the electric era of Obama, I decided to be that change in the hair industry. I always strive for greatness because mediocrity is not acceptable.

Enyia’s love for beauty, fashion, and style has made her unique designs a cultural movement. Her motto is simple: style less create more. Her long list of clients, including, Muffy, an up and coming pop star, respect her integrity and love her ability to take risks with cuts, color and shape

LETHA ANISE

My daughter Enyia (pronounced A-ni-yah) encouraged me to pursue my dream in 2004, to start a natural skin care product line because of her allergies and sensitive skin. We began researching scent free and preservative free natural products, creating our very own formulas, then began to adjust them until we got our creams and butters just right. We were immediately astonished with the change in her skin, energy and spirit; we knew we were onto something fantastic! I was also delighted to note that using all natural products produced similar results on my maturing skin. As the benefits of an all natural skincare routine transformed my body. I vigorously continued my research and began developing more and more products; always seeking out the best natural ingredients. As I began to share my newfound secrets with my family and friends they too were delighted, and quickly saw the benefits of having beautiful, healthy glowing skin. enyiaanise Natural Skincare was born!

Then in May 2007 the company I worked for was bought out by AT&T; since I had 30 years total service in the telecommunication industry I decided I would take the buyout and combine my years of service with age and retire...and I have never looked back! At the same time the salon Enyia was working in just happen to be closing… so the stars, moon and trees aligned and enyiaanise beauty bar was created as a joint family venture.
